Flirting Scholar
Flirting Scholar Free Slot Demo review
Flirting Scholar is a slot based on a classic romance in which Tang Bohu, one of the four great talents of Jiangnan, disguises himself as a servant to win the heart of Qiuxiang. It was released on January 3, 2020, and the free demo lets you enjoy the story right away with no sign-up.
What is the plot of Flirting Scholar?
It’s the story of Tang Bohu, a talented scholar who falls in love at first sight with Chuxiang, a maid he meets at a temple, and sneaks into her household as a servant named Hua An. His identity is revealed in a crisis, but in the end he saves the family with his wisdom and wins her love. As you’d expect from a PG Soft slot built on a classic folktale, the character presentation is rich.
How do the pick-a-feature free spins work?
Collecting scatter symbols opens a chance to choose a feature, which connects to the free spins. Depending on your choice, you can receive surprise rewards such as a bonus multiplier, stacked wilds, jumping wilds, or low-paying symbol removal. The mood of the free spins changes a lot depending on which reward is attached. Characters from the story appear as symbols and in the animations, so it’s more fun to play if you know the plot.
What do jumping wilds and low-paying symbol removal do?
A jumping wild is a reward where the wild moves from position to position, affecting multiple lines. Low-paying symbol removal takes the lower-paying symbols off the reels, raising the chance of matching high-paying symbols. Both raise the expected value of the free spins. Whichever reward you get, it works within the free spins, so the anticipation builds from the moment the selection screen opens.
What are the RTP and max win?
The is 97.44%, which is high even among PG Soft games. The max win is 1,407x and the volatility is medium, so it isn’t overly harsh. The hit frequency is 24.57%, and bets range from €0.2 to €200. Bonus buy is not available. Removing low-paying symbols in particular feels very effective on a small screen like the 5-reel, 3-row layout.
What should I check first in the demo?
Keep in mind the RTP of 97.44%, medium volatility, and max win of 1,407x. In the demo, check how quickly scatters gather to open the feature selection, and compare which reward feels most favorable: bonus multiplier, stacked wilds, jumping wilds, or low-paying symbol removal. The high RTP also makes it a good game to test in the demo for a long time and compare the differences between rewards.
