Book of 99

Book of 99 is a “Book of” style slot set in an adventure among the Greek gods, and its biggest feature is its 99% RTP. It was released on May 4, 2021, and you can spin it right away in the free demo with no sign-up.

How is Book of 99 different from other Book of games?

It’s a familiar 5-reel, 10-payline structure, but the biggest difference is the RTP set at 99%. The official description also stresses that it’s the first Book of game to feature 99RTP. Among Relax Gaming slots, its theoretical return is noticeably high, so it’s a good one to compare in the demo. Above all, it adds a collecting goal so the base game doesn’t feel dull, and this is what gives the game its personality.

How does collecting 99 books work?

Collecting book symbols in the base game until you reach 99 books starts 10 free spins. Besides the usual way of landing 3 books at once, this gives you another path in. So the longer the spins go, the more fun it is to watch how full the counter is. With this counter on top of the 3-book trigger, it’s easy to think of it as two paths into the bonus.

What is the warrior symbol chosen in free spins?

Before free spins begin, one of the warrior characters is randomly selected. This symbol gains an expanding ability during free spins and grows to fill the whole reel, so when it spans several reels, win sizes jump considerably. The mood changes from round to round depending on which character is picked. Warriors that fit the Greek mythology theme appear, and every time an expansion plays out, the screen feels completely filled.

Can free spins be retriggered?

Yes, if 3 or more book symbols land during the bonus round, you get 10 more free spins. The rounds keep going with the expanding symbol retained, so a bonus you enter can be extended for a long time. Check in the demo how often retriggers happen. The same conditions apply on retriggers, so the tension comes back every time a book symbol shows up.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 99%, volatility is very high (5/5), and the max win is 12,075x. Hit frequency is 29.83%, the bet range is €0.10 – €100, and bonus buy isn’t available, so you have to aim for free spins through regular spins. First check how fast the 99-book counter fills and how powerful the expanding symbol is. Look at the numbers first, then compare them with how it feels.
