Jungle Spirit Megaways

Jungle Spirit Megaways is a Megaways remake of Jungle Spirit, a wildlife-themed slot where symbols touched by a butterfly spread across the whole reel. It’s listed with a March 21, 2017 release, and the free demo lets you step into the jungle right away with no sign-up.

What kind of game is Jungle Spirit Megaways?

This Megaways game has 6 reels with 2 to 7 symbols per reel, calculating wins across up to 117,649 ways. Symbols marked by a butterfly expand to cover the whole reel, and in free spins you pick one of five animals. As a NetEnt slot that scales up the original’s feel, it’s well worth a spin for Megaways fans.

When does the butterfly symbol expansion happen?

On the first spin of the base game and free spins, butterflies can randomly mark high symbols that are part of a winning combination. A symbol with a butterfly expands to cover its entire reel. Megaways reels can hold many symbols, so when a whole reel changes, the number of ways jumps significantly. There’s a thrill in waiting for the butterflies to land.

What is Butterfly Boost?

This feature can trigger on any spin in the base game and free spins. 2 or 3 butterflies land on high symbols and expand them across the whole reel, and these symbols are always part of a winning combination. A guaranteed win makes it something to look forward to. With high symbols covering whole reels, the number of ways grows a lot on the Megaways screen. Spins where Butterfly Boost overlaps are a base game highlight.

Which animal should I pick for free spins?

Scatters land on reels 1, 3 and 5 in the base game and can land anywhere during avalanches, and collecting 3 opens free spins. You choose one of the tiger with 4 spins, the elephant with 8, the bear with 12, the crocodile with 16 or the cobra with 20, and the fewer the spins, the higher the risk and win potential. Only the high symbols of your chosen animal appear on the reels, and you can also go for extra spins with the free spins wheel.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 96.20%, volatility is medium-high, and the max win is 6,500x. The hit frequency is high at about 34%. Bonus buy is available at 50x your bet, so in the demo try picking animals with different spin counts, like the tiger and the cobra, and compare the results. With such a high hit frequency, the base game never gets dull.
