Evil Eyes
Evil Eyes Free Slot Demo review
Evil Eyes is a ways slot with an eerie premise: you’re caught in the gaze of the shadowy being Shade and can’t escape. It was released on September 4, 2024, and with the free demo you can face that gaze with no sign-up.
What kind of game is Evil Eyes?
A high volatility slot that calculates wins with 3,125 ways on 5 reels and 5 rows. The Evil Eye symbols and the Evil Spread mechanic are the core, and the max 12,500x can be reached in every game mode. The base of 96.24% is relatively high among Hacksaw Gaming slots. Volatility is high, so it suits players who wait for big wins.
How does the Evil Spread work?
When an Evil Eye drops directly below a winning symbol, it marks those winning symbols and then picks a direction, right or down. Cells in that direction, all the way to the edge of the screen, are converted into winning symbols, extending the win. After spreading to the right, there’s also a chance to spread downward one more time. If an Evil Eye is in the path of the spread, it also turns into a winning symbol.
Can the Evil Eye drop anywhere?
In the base game, it only drops on reel 3, only one appears at a time, and it never lands on the top row. That makes it fun to watch the reel 3 position and predict which way the spread will go. In the Wicked Knight bonus, several can drop on every reel. Because of this restriction, the moment an Evil Eye drops feels even more tense.
How do the Wicked Knight and Graveyard bonuses differ?
With 3 or more FS, the Wicked Knight starts with 3 lives, and the eye looks up, down, left or right, collecting the multipliers caught in its gaze onto the multiplier above the reel. When it ends, all reel multipliers are added up and multiplied by your bet. Graveyard, with 4 or more FS, is 10 free spins, and low symbols spread after a win disappear on later spins.
What should you check in the demo?
RTP is 96.24% and the game comes with an RTP range. Volatility is high, hit frequency is about 29%, and max win is 12,500x. In the demo, watch how win sizes differ when the Evil Spread goes downward versus to the right, and how quickly lower symbols thin out in the Graveyard. Wicked Epic Drop can trigger randomly at the start of a spin.
