The Cursed Idol of Montezuma Treasure Hunt Free Slot Demo review
The Cursed Idol of Montezuma Treasure Hunt is a 6×4 reel, 20 payline slot about an expedition where danger and treasure are mixed together. Developed by Reflex Gaming and released through Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters, it came out on September 16, 2025. Set off on the expedition right away with the free demo, no sign-up needed.
What is the core feature of this game?
The game centers on the Treasure Hunt GEM feature newly introduced by Reflex Gaming. On a 6-reel, 4-row grid with 20 paylines, landing 2 scatters activates a progressive feature. It is a Reflex Gaming title in the Yggdrasil slots YGG Masters lineup. Its hallmark is combining an expedition theme with progression elements.
How do I use the Treasure Hunt GEM treasure map?
The treasure map opened by 2 scatters is a pick-style feature where you choose cells to reveal. On the map you can earn free spins, cash prizes, upgrades and sticky wilds. Progress carries across sessions and builds anticipation, so even short sessions keep the momentum. Which cell you pick changes the outcome.
How do I spin the wheel during free spins?
Free spins start through bonus symbols or the treasure map. During the bonus, collecting scatters lets you spin the wheel, which gives sticky wilds, multipliers or one of 4 fixed jackpots. A single wheel result can change the character of the bonus significantly. With jackpots at stake, the tension builds with every spin of the wheel.
What are the Montezuma Mystery Prize and Golden Bet?
When Montezuma symbols drop in as a stack, the Montezuma Mystery Prize can trigger. Golden Bet is an option that raises the chance of triggering free spins. Bonus buy is also said to be available in supported markets. Stacked symbols are a moment worth watching even in the base game. You can also compare Golden Bet on and off in the demo.
What should I check first in the demo?
The base is 96.00%, with 94.0% and 90.5% versions also available. Volatility is medium-high and the max win is 3,800x. The default bet is €1, with a range of €0.10 to €100. In the demo, watch how often 2 scatters open the treasure map and what rewards the wheel mostly gives.
