Thor Infinity Reels

Thor Infinity Reels is a Norse mythology slot led by Thor, the god of thunder, and his hammer Mjolnir. Developed by Reelplay and released as part of the Yggdrasil YGG Masters program, it is a game Reelplay itself describes as its most ambitious work yet. It was released on April 1, 2021, and you can spin it right away with the free demo, no sign-up needed.

What kind of slot is Thor Infinity Reels?

It combines a Norse fantasy theme starring Thor, the guardian of Asgard, with the ever-growing Infinity Reels mechanic and a Jackpot Respin. Among the Yggdrasil slots lineup made by Reelplay, it is the title the developer says it put the most care into. Volatility is on the high side, so results can swing widely on a single run.

How does the Infinity Reels mechanic work?

It starts on the base reels, and when conditions are met, a new reel is added to the right one at a time. The official description calls it potentially endless reels. As the reels grow, the screen gets wider, and so does the space for collecting hammers in the Jackpot Respin. There is a big difference between spins that stay at the base reel count and spins where reels keep getting added one after another, so you really focus the moment the expansion begins.

What do you aim for in the Jackpot Respin?

The Jackpot Respin is a stage where you look for and collect hammers that cover multiple symbols on the expanded Infinity Reels. The sight of lightning and hammers pouring across the whole screen is the highlight of this game. Extending the reels as far as possible during the respins is the path to big rewards. Since a hammer can cover several symbols at once, the wider the screen, the more spectacular the respin results become.

When do you get the 888x Infinity Reels bonus?

If you stack 12 or more extra reels, you receive the Infinity Reels bonus worth 888x your bet. The reel count is the goal itself, so the tension rises each time another reel is added. This number is the clearest target to remember in this game. You only reach it by steadily adding reels without stopping, so you end up watching the respin flow all the way through.

What should I check first in the demo?

The RTP is listed as a single version at 96.20%, and volatility is high. The max win is 6,055x your bet. Hit frequency is not in the published materials, so it is a good idea to count for yourself how often extra reels get added in the demo. Also check how long it takes to reach the full 12 extra reels. With high volatility, it helps to keep your bet small and spin many times to get a feel for the flow.
