Iron Bank

Iron Bank is a heist-themed slot set in Cuba where you team up with the criminal mastermind Jaguar to rob a bank. It is the first custom game made with the community CasinoGrounds and was released on October 28, 2020. You can spin it right away in the free demo with no sign-up.

What kind of structure does Iron Bank have?

A ways slot with 4,096 ways to win across 6 reels. As long as the same symbols connect from the left, the win counts no matter where on the row they sit. The setup of targeting a bank in Cuba alongside Jaguar is woven all over the screen. Among Relax Gaming slots, it was the first collaboration with CasinoGrounds, so it keeps a steady fan base.

How does the heist choice change free spins?

When 3 bonus symbols appear, you enter free spins and choose your heist yourself. There are three: Sticky Mystery Symbols, Expanding Respin Wilds, and Progressive Multiplier Wilds, and each heist has a different volatility level. Your choice depends on whether you want a steady flow or a shot at a big hit. Which heist you pick sets the character of this bonus, so the tension at the moment of choosing is quite high.

What changes with 4 or more bonus symbols?

Instant prizes are added based on the number of bonus symbols. 4 pay 20x your bet, 5 pay 200x, and 6 pay 2,000x. These instant wins can stack with the free spins entry, so how many scatters land matters quite a lot in this game. In particular, if all 6 land at once, you’ve already secured a big win before the free spins even begin.

What can you do with bonus buy?

Bonus buy is available, so you can skip the base game and go straight into the heist stage. According to the official description, the max win is 49,999x, which you can aim for at the peak of this heist. In the demo, it’s easy to compare the three heists by buying and picking them in turn. The flow on screen differs quite a bit between heists, so after choosing a few times yourself, you’ll quickly see which one suits your taste.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 96.2% and volatility is very high (5/5), so be ready for stretches that end empty-handed. Still, with a hit frequency of 28.49%, small wins show up fairly often. With a max win of 49,999x and a bet range of €0.10 – €20, try the demo to get a feel for how each heist plays out. Results vary a lot between heists, so don’t judge from just one or two tries; I recommend repeating it many times.
