Madame Ink

Madame Ink is a 5×3 video slot devoted to the art of tattooing, using tattoo designs that carry different meanings across cultures as the motif of the whole game. It was released on October 22, 2020, and you can try it right away with the free demo.

What is the concept of Madame Ink?

It’s a 5×3 slot themed around the art of tattooing. Because tattoos carry different meanings in cultures around the world, the game is said to aim for broad appeal. The high-paying symbols are dragon, tiger, demon, and crane tattoos, and the low-paying symbols are card suits in various colors. From the inkwell wild and the tattooed S scatter to the Madame Ink mystery reels, every symbol shows the design sense you’d expect from a Play’n GO slot.

How does the Wild Ink feature work?

Wild Ink is a randomly triggered feature. When it activates, a wild that lands on a reel spreads like spilled ink and can fill that entire reel. The inkwell wild design fits well with the ink-spreading animation, and a single wild covering a whole reel is the signature moment of this game. One wild makes a big impression.

What is Madame’s Mystery?

Madame’s Mystery is also a randomly triggered feature. While the reels spin, a Madame Ink mystery symbol lands on the middle reel, and when the reels stop it turns into a stack of the same high-paying symbol. Madame Ink then uses her magic to change the high-paying symbols on the other reels into that same stack symbol as well. It’s the moment the screen lines up with high-paying symbols.

How do I choose a free spins mode?

Landing 3 scatters starts the free spins, and you can pick one of three modes. The first is 12 free spins with only Wild Ink active on every spin, and the second is 6 free spins with only Mystery Reels active. Since it’s a trade-off between the number of spins and the feature, the character of the free spins changes a lot depending on which mode you choose.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.23% and the max win is 5,000x your bet. There is no official volatility figure, so try the demo and get a feel for it yourself. In the free spins, switch between the modes and compare which suits you better: 12 spins with Wild Ink active on every spin, or 6 spins with only Mystery Reels active. It also helps to watch how often the two random features trigger.
