What kind of game is Hugo?

This is a 5-reel video slot that follows the adventures of the popular troll character Hugo. You can activate up to 10 paylines and bet up to 5 coins per line, with lines turning on in the order 1, 2, 3, 4. Among Play’n GO slots that make the most of a character IP, it’s one that stirs up nostalgia. Since it’s a familiar character, it feels friendly right from the start.

How does the treasure bonus game work?

When treasure chest scatters land on reels 1, 3, and 5, the treasure bonus begins, where you pick doors inside the gold mine. You have to reach the treasure room without being caught and choose the right treasure chest. Each door gives coins, and finding a big chunk of treasure pays a large coin reward. Since the chest scatters must land on three specific reels, seeing a chest on reel 1 raises your hopes.

What happens if you meet Don Croco?

The crocodile henchman Don Croco can be hiding behind any door. If you open a door and Don Croco catches you, the bonus game ends right there. That’s why the treasure bonus has the tension of making you wonder whether to go deeper. Deciding how many doors to open is the biggest fun of the bonus. Reaching the treasure room safely while avoiding the villain’s henchman is the ultimate goal.

Can you choose between 5 and 10 free spins?

When 3 or more scatters of the villainous witch Afskylia land, free spins open, and Hugolina can appear stacked on all reels as an extra scatter. Choose 5 spins and you get 3x your total bet per Hugolina; choose 10 spins and you get 2x per Hugolina. It’s a choice between going short and punchy or going long. Pick whichever suits your taste.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.4% and the max win is 10,000x your total bet. Bonus buy is not available. There is no official volatility figure, so in the demo try alternating between the 5-spin and 10-spin choices and compare which feels better when Hugolina scatters stack up. If you’re a Hugo fan, be sure to check out the treasure bonus presentation too.
