What kind of game is Dear Santa?

This is a Christmas-themed slot with 25 lines on a 3-row, 5-reel screen. It has three kinds of wilds, and you collect letters that land on the last reel into a mailbox to prepare for free spins. With an RTP of 96.76%, it’s a good figure even among Red Tiger slots, so it’s great for a casual spin during the holiday season. The whole screen is decorated with snow and gifts.

How are the Snow White Wild and the Santa Wild different?

The Snow White Wild lands on reel 1 in both the base game and free spins, carrying one multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x that applies to every payline win it takes part in. The Santa Wild lands on reels 2, 3, and 4 in the base game, and when it takes part in a winning combination, it spreads across the entire reel. When a multiplier wild and an expanding wild join on the same line, the win grows significantly.

How are Christmas letters used?

Christmas letters land only on the last reel, and each time one lands it is saved in the mailbox above the last reel. The letters you’ve collected turn into Christmas gift wilds during free spins. Gift wilds appear only in free spins, substitute for all paying symbols, and are counted as the symbol of the longest winning combination. There’s the fun of waiting as the bonus gets stronger the more letters you collect.

How are free spins triggered?

When 3 scatters land on reels 2, 3, and 4, or when you collect 60 or more letters in the mailbox, 10 free spins begin. No scatters appear during the bonus, and there are no retriggers. Instead, the more letters you have collected, the more gift wilds you get, so steadily building up letters in the base game is important. A special feature is that you can open the bonus with letters without waiting for scatters.

What should you check first in the demo?

With bonus buy, you can pick free spins starting with 10 letters collected for 40x your bet, and there’s also an option that starts with 25 letters.
