How does Pirates Plenty play?

This slot starts on 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 lines, and collecting map pieces opens a sixth reel, the Treasure Reel. According to the official description, once the Treasure Reel opens it stays open, and from then on the Mega Wild Ship can appear. The board gets stronger as you progress, making this the starting point of the pirate series that’s counted among the signature titles of Red Tiger slots.

How are map pieces related to the Treasure Reel?

Map pieces are scatter symbols that appear at random until you reach the end of the map. Each time one lands, your progress toward unlocking the Treasure Reel goes up. When you reach the end of the map, the sixth reel opens and stays open. Collecting the map early on is effectively the game’s first goal. You can check your map progress on screen.

What’s the difference between the Wild Ship and the Wild Monkey?

The Wild Ship appears only after the Treasure Reel is open, and it can carry 2x, 3x or 5x multipliers. The Wild Monkey appears only in the base game; when it drops, the monkey removes all low-paying symbols and fills the spots with high-paying symbols. The monkey stays at the last spot it cleared. One handles multipliers, the other cleans up the board.

Each opened chest turns at least one low-paying symbol into a wild for the rest of the Ocean Spins, and you also get extra free spins. The more chests you open, the stronger the remaining spins become.
