Lucky Durian

Lucky Durian is a 5×3, 15-payline slot from Habanero featuring the durian, the king of fruits, and its friends. The core of the game is wilds that expand and lock in place, followed by respins, and paylines pay in both directions. You can spin it right away with the free demo, no sign-up needed.

How do expanding wilds work?

In Lucky Durian, wild symbols expand over the reels and stay locked in place. When a wild shows up during a normal spin, the whole screen can change at once. Locked wilds are the starting point for this game’s respin feature, so watching for when a wild appears is a big part of the fun.

How do the respins continue?

Each time an expanded wild appears, you get 3 respins. If the condition is met again during the respins, they can retrigger without limit. That means once a run gets going, you may see respins go on for a long time. How it actually plays out is different on every spin, though.

What’s different about two-way paylines?

This game has 15 paylines, and they pay both left to right and right to left. That gives symbol combinations more room to land than in slots that pay in only one direction. In the demo, it’s also worth watching whether a locked expanding wild helps form combinations from both directions.

Recommended for

It suits players who like the look of wilds expanding and locking in place. It’s also a good fit if you’re drawn to respins that keep retriggering, or if you enjoy the unique psychedelic mood of the durian and its fruit friends. It works well for those who like meeting features in the base flow without a bonus buy.

What should I check first in the demo?

First, watch how often the expanding wilds appear and how the respins continue. This game has very high volatility and a max win of 4,375x. RTP can be selected from about 86% up to 98%, with the highest value being 98.00%. Get a good feel for the flow and atmosphere in the demo before you decide.
