Rolling Roger
Rolling Roger Free Slot Demo review
Rolling Roger is a 5×3 slot released in 2017 where a cute squirrel named Roger gathers acorns with forest friends. It uses rolling pay – Roger rolls over symbols to set your prize – and you can spin free games using collected acorns. You can play the free demo with no sign-up required.
How does rolling pay work?
Instead of matching lines like regular slots, Rolling Roger has Roger roll directly across the reels to create your prize. He starts from the last spin position and rolls in any direction between 3 and 15 steps at random. Your prize is based on how many symbols of each type he passes over. Every spin you get to watch where and how far Roger rolls.
How do you collect acorns?
When Roger rolls over one of the 4 animated symbols on top, acorns get collected. You can gather up to 120 acorns max. Acorns are then used for free games and wilds, making them the core resource of this game.
How are free games and wilds used?
Scatters only start showing after 40 spins, and 3 or more anywhere triggers the bonus. Free games run by using collected acorns one at a time. Spend 5 acorns and you might get a random wild. Note that free games won’t retrigger during the bonus.
Recommended for
This works great for anyone who wants a unique flow different from standard line slots. Since acorns build up and connect to free games, players who like collecting mechanics will enjoy it. Anyone who likes cute forest character themes will have a good time too. Since it’s a 2017 release, it’s also nice for a relaxed, casual vibe.
What should I check first in the demo?
Start by watching how many steps Roger rolls per spin and which symbols give acorns. Then check the speed acorns gather and when scatters show up. This game has medium volatility, selectable at 92%, 94%, 97%, and 98%, and a max win of 534x.
