Sanctuary
Sanctuary Free Slot Demo Review
Sanctuary is a 6-reel, 4,096-ways slot featuring purple full reel wilds and free spins where several slots spin at the same time. It was released on November 14, 2023, and you can play the free demo right away with no sign-up.
What kind of slot is Sanctuary?
This is a ways slot with 6 reels, 4 rows, and 4,096 ways to win. It belongs to the Licensed category among the Big Time Gaming slots made by the creators of Megaways, and its concept is a message to stop being dragged around by the world and find your own sanctuary. The key features are full reel wilds in the base game and free spins where multiple slots spin at once in the bonus.
How strong is the purple full reel wild?
The full reel wild appears covering an entire reel from reel 2 to reel 5. The purple wild carries an x8 multiplier, so any win it takes part in grows big in one go. Combined with the 4,096 ways, you can expect hefty wins even in the base game, so the moment a purple reel lands is the most welcome. The sight of a whole reel changing at once is satisfying too.
Can I increase the number of slots with the free spins gamble?
When you get 7 free spins, the gamble wheel turns on, and you can choose between locking in one slot or going for more slots. A successful gamble raises the slots to 2, and one more success raises them to 4. The highlight of this game is seeing 4 slots spin at once, each with 4,096 ways, so deciding whether to gamble is a tough call every time.
How do Ankh symbols turn into sticky wilds?
3 scatters start 7 free spins on 1 slot, and every additional scatter adds one more slot, so 6 scatters open 4 slots. During free spins, Ankh symbols on reels 2-5 turn into sticky wilds that lock in the same position on every slot. When 4 gather on one reel, they become an x4 wild, and you can also win 3 extra free spins.
What should I check first in the demo?
RTP is 96.38%, volatility is very high (9.5/10), and the max win is 75,776x. The hit frequency is fairly high at 44.57%, and bets range from 0.1 to 12. In the demo, use the bonus buy (80x) to jump into free spins, and check how many slots the gamble can add and how the Ankh wilds spread across multiple slots.
