What kind of game is Black River Gold?

This is the fourth slot in the ELK Gold series. It has two unique features, Wild Compass and Revolver, and the rows grow through avalanches. Because it continues the story of adventurer Kane from ELK Studios slots into the era after the Wild West, it is especially welcome for series fans. The early 20th-century graphics are also worth a look.

How far do the rows expand?

It starts at 4,096 ways, and as avalanches continue the rows expand, reaching 262,144 ways at a maximum of 8 rows. While winning symbols disappear and new ones drop, the screen grows upward. The longer the chain goes, the more the ways increase dramatically. Try counting in the demo how many chains it takes to open up 8 rows.

How does the Revolver feature work?

Every large symbol with empty space below it turns into a revolver and loads the symbols beneath it until it reaches a flat floor. Then all the loaded symbols are displayed at a large size. When a revolver is full, it turns into a wild. Large symbols naturally become revolvers whenever empty space appears, so keep an eye on changes at the bottom of the screen during avalanches. The moment it turns into a wild is the key.

What is the Wild Compass feature?

Wild Compass is one of the game’s unique features named in the official introduction. The provided material has no detailed explanation of how it works, so we recommend checking in the demo what changes on screen when the compass appears. Along with the Revolver, it is one of the two features that define this game, so be sure to look out for it.

What should I check first in the demo?

The official RTP, volatility rating, and max win values are not included in the source material. The bet range is €0.20 – €100. In the demo, watch how many symbols the revolver loads and how often it fills up and turns into a wild. Rather than the numbers, take your time experiencing the feature presentation.
