Marlin Masters

Marlin Masters is a fishing-themed slot about reeling in marlin on rough seas, where fishermen collect prize symbols. It was released on January 27, 2025, and you can play it with no sign-up in the free demo.

How much is a marlin symbol worth?

Marlin symbols carry cash prizes from 1x to 1,000x your bet. You can receive them when a fisherman symbol collects them, or when 3 or more marlin form a loot line win. If you have played fishing-themed Hacksaw Gaming slots before, the structure is familiar, but there is one more path called the loot line.

What role does the fisherman symbol play?

The fisherman collects all the marlin prizes on screen and can apply multipliers of up to 20x. With several fishermen, they work together to build bigger prizes. However, fishermen do not collect each other’s values. When a marlin value is too large to display fully, it is shown rounded down to two decimal places, and the displayed value is always the minimum amount you can receive. The actual payout is equal to or greater than what is shown.

How does the progress bar in the Reel It In bonus rise?

When 3 FS open 10 spins, a marlin progress bar appears at the top of the screen. It fills one step each time a fisherman lands, whether or not it actually collects. Gathering 4 fishermen moves you to the first level and adds 10 spins, and each level adds another 10 spins while the fishermen’s minimum multiplier rises to x2, x4 and x10. So you end up aiming for the moment when several fishermen and a high-value marlin land on the same screen.

How is Off the Hook different from Reel It In?

4 FS start 15 spins, with the fisherman multiplier guaranteed at a minimum of x2 from the first spin. The progress bar rules are the same but the rewards are bigger: each level adds 15 spins and the minimum multiplier rises to x4, x10 and x15. 5 FS open the Plenty of Fish in the Sea bonus with 10 spins. The bar rises even on spins where the fisherman collects no prizes, so it feels less like a loss.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 96.24%, volatility is high, and the max win is 7,500x. The hit frequency is 29.7%. In the demo, count how many fishermen you need to gather to move up a level, and compare how much the prizes change once a minimum multiplier is applied. As the fisherman multiplier rises, the same marlin value grows several times over. Bonus buy is supported, so you can jump straight in during the demo.
