Mighty Panda

Mighty Panda is a slot with a Chinese-style theme, built around a panda warrior who casts mystical Eastern spells to drop multiplier symbols. It was released on August 28, 2024.

What kind of game is Mighty Panda?

A slot dressed in a Chinese-style theme, introduced in the official description as Microgaming’s new Chinese-themed release. The key moment is the panda warrior character casting mystical Eastern spells to hand out multiplier symbols. If you like an Eastern atmosphere among Microgaming slots, it’s worth a look first. The friendly panda character and the Eastern spell effects come together nicely.

Is the win condition different from regular slots?

Yes. Instead of lining symbols up, you win when 8 or more of the same symbol appear anywhere on the screen. Since only the count matters and not the position, you look at the whole screen and count matching symbols. Check the in-game paytable for each symbol’s payout. The official description also says you just need to match at least 8 of the same symbol anywhere.

What does the panda warrior do?

The panda warrior is a character who casts mystical Eastern spells to give you multiplier symbols. The official description says these multiplier symbols give you a shot at bigger wins. Random multiplier symbols are mentioned separately too, but the multiplier range has not been published. The moment the panda warrior casts a spell is when a multiplier symbol appears, so it’s worth keeping an eye on this character’s moves.

Are there free spins and a jackpot too?

Yes. The official description mentions multiplier free spins where multipliers build up, along with a jackpot. Multipliers stacking up during free spins is the biggest feature of this game’s free spins. However, numbers such as the free spins count, the jackpot types, and the multiplier range have not been published. For the free spins entry conditions and how the jackpot is triggered, it’s most accurate to check the game rules.

What should I look at first?

Volatility is classified as very high. Results can swing widely, so first get used to the win condition of 8 or more of the same symbol. Then watch how the panda warrior’s multiplier symbols and the stacking multiplier free spins play out, and the game will make a lot more sense. Enjoy the atmosphere of the Chinese-style theme with its panda warrior, too.
