Archangels: Salvation
Archangels: Salvation Free Slot Demo review
Archangels: Salvation is a 6×12 slot depicting the age-old battle between angels and demons, good and evil. According to the official description, it is the first NetEnt game ever to use 100 bet lines. It was released on April 25, 2018, and you can jump into the battle right away with the free demo.
What kind of game is Archangels: Salvation?
This is a large slot with 100 bet lines on a 6×12 screen, and it is the first NetEnt game to introduce 100 lines. There are hotspot zones at the top and bottom of the screen, and different wild features trigger depending on where the wild lands. If you like big screens, it is a unique pick among NetEnt slots.
How are the hotspot zones divided?
The top 2 rows are the Heaven zone and the bottom 2 rows are the Hell zone, and during free spins both zones expand to 3 rows. If a 2×2 wild overlaps a zone even partly, that feature triggers and repeats as many times as the number of positions overlapping the zone. When a 2×2 wild lands fully inside, the feature triggers 4 times. Where the wild lands decides the result.
How do the Heaven and Hell features differ?
The Heaven feature creates wild stacks 3 to 5 positions tall. If the 2×2 wild only partly overlaps, you get 2 stacks, and if it lands fully inside, you get 4. The Hell feature fires 8 or 16 single-position wilds from the Hell zone and drops them across the reels. Heaven stacks do not drop in the upper hotspot zone, and Hell wilds do not drop on scatters, on other wilds, or in the lower hotspot zone.
How many scatters do free spins need?
Landing 3 or more stacked scatters that take up 2 positions starts the free spins. Even a partly visible scatter counts as one, and scatters covered by a wild stack still count. 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters award 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins. Keep in mind that if free spins and a wild feature trigger at the same time, the wild feature plays out first.
What should I check first in the demo?
is 96.08%, volatility is medium-high, max win is 644x, and hit frequency is about 17%. The bet range is €0.4 to €200. In the demo, watch whether the 2×2 wild lands in the upper or lower zone, and compare the results of the Heaven and Hell features. Bonus buy is not available, so also track how many scatters you collect each time.
