What kind of game is Dark King: Forbidden Riches?

This is a fairly tidy slot with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines. Built around a story of fulfilling a prophecy and claiming the treasure the Dark King has hidden, it features wild multipliers, free spins and extra free spins as its core features. It’s a good game for enjoying the fundamentals of a NetEnt slot without complicated rules. The bet range is also wide, at €0.2 to €400.

How is the wild multiplier calculated?

When one or more wilds appear on screen in the base game or free spins, a multiplier equal to the number of wilds is applied to all payline wins. Two wilds give x2, three give x3, and so on, up to x5. Wilds both form winning combinations and raise the multiplier, so they do two jobs in a single spin. The more wilds, the better the setup.

How many free spins do you get?

It triggers when 3 or more scatters land anywhere. Three give 10 spins, four give 12, and five give 15. The more scatters, the higher the starting count, so landing 4 or more is a welcome sight. The wild multiplier still applies during free spins, so the multiplier rises as wilds pile up. Scatters count wherever they land on the reels.

How does the cross-shaped sticky wild hotspot work?

Free spins feature a cross-shaped sticky wild hotspot zone. When a wild lands in this zone, it turns into a sticky wild and stays, and you also get 1 extra free spin. You can receive up to 5 extra free spins in one session. As locked wilds accumulate, the number of wilds on screen grows too. That’s why anticipation builds toward the later part of free spins.

What should I check first in the demo?

The RTP is 96.06%, volatility is medium-high, and the max win is 1,600x your bet. Hit frequency is 38%, so wins land fairly often. In the demo, check how many wilds lock into the cross-shaped zone during free spins to get a feel for this game’s ceiling. The bet range is €0.2 to €400. With wins this frequent, it’s also easy to get a read on the game’s flow.
