Infectious 5 xWays
Infectious 5 xWays Free Slot Demo review
Infectious 5 xWays is a dystopian slot where five villains, not heroes, take the lead. It focuses on just one of the many x-mechanics, Infectious xWays, so it’s a great pick for seeing its power in a slot demo.
Infectious 5 xWays Max Win Replay
A city ruled by five villains
Five characters, Havoc, Mind Flayer, Torch, Misery, and Toxicity, appear against the backdrop of a ruined city. Like the line “die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain,” it has a strong anti-hero feel. The base screen starts at 5×4 with 1,024 ways to win. The comic-book art style combined with dark, gritty colors gives it a strong personality.
Specs at a Glance
is 96.02%, made up of 61.6% from the base game and 34.42% from the bonus. Volatility is high and the hit frequency is 31.34%. Free spins come about once every 220 spins, and wins of 100x or more about once every 840 spins. The max win of 55,555x has odds of about 1 in 28 million.
Infectious xWays Explained
The xWays mystery symbol reveals one symbol while expanding the cell to 2 or 3. When an xWays and a wild drop together, they turn into Infectious xWays, and every matching symbol anywhere on the screen expands along with the revealed one. That makes even a plain wild very powerful next to an xWays. This mechanic debuted in East Coast VS West Coast and became the star of this game.
A bonus where choosing is part of the fun
If you enter Infectious Spins with 3 or 4 bonus symbols, you can choose between Toxic Hazard and Lock n’ Load, and with 4 symbols, each mode gets 1 extra round. Toxic Hazard places 1 to 5 wilds on the middle reel on every spin for 9 to 10 rounds, so as soon as an xWays drops, it becomes Infectious xWays. Lock n’ Load is shorter at 7 to 8 rounds, but wilds stay locked until the end and 2x or 3x multipliers can be added, making it wilder. Collecting 5 bonus symbols unlocks the top-tier Mayhem Mode.
What to watch for in the demo
Bonus buy is available, and you can buy the three modes at prices from 75x to 555x. In the demo, try buying Toxic Hazard and Lock n’ Load in turn and compare how much the results vary. The bet range is 0.2 to 50, so the max bet is on the low side. Among Nolimit City slots, it’s the one that shows how Infectious xWays hits in its purest form.
