Fortune Dragon

Fortune Dragon is a Fortune family series slot built on the legend of a village person who cares for an injured dragon at Lunar New Year and is rewarded by the god of prosperity and luck. Released on January 22, 2024, it can be played right away as a free demo.

Which game in the Fortune family is Fortune Dragon?

This is the dragon version of the Fortune family series, like Fortune Tiger and Fortune Mouse. The compact screen with 3 reels, 3 rows, and 5 paylines makes it easy to get used to, even for first-timers. It carries over the short, fast-spin style of PG Soft slots as is. The red tones of the Lunar New Year mood are striking too.

What does the multiplier reel do?

The base game has a separate multiplier reel that multiplies wins by up to x10. Even for the same payline win, the result changes depending on which multiplier lands on this reel. With the small 3×3 screen, the multiplier reel’s value feels especially impactful. Even the same payline win feels very different when x10 is attached.

How is the Fortune Dragon feature triggered?

The Fortune Dragon feature triggers at random, and when it does you get 8 Fortune Spins. During Fortune Spins the multiplier reel expands so that 2 or 3 multipliers apply on each spin, making it the key stage for big wins. Because it triggers at random, there’s a tension in not knowing when it will hit. It’s far stronger than the base game’s x10 multiplier reel, so the trigger moment is the most welcome one.

What is Sure Win Bet?

When Sure Win Bet is on, a win is guaranteed on every spin except Fortune Spins. Wins come every time, but the flow of play changes, so it’s worth comparing the on and off states in the demo. Bonus buy is not available in this game. Keep in mind that a guaranteed win doesn’t mean an amount larger than your bet is guaranteed.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 96.74%, volatility is medium, and max win is 2,500x. Hit frequency is about 21.33%, and bets range from €0.25 to €250. In the demo, first look at the difference with and without Sure Win Bet and how often the Fortune Dragon feature triggers. The compact structure lets you check many spins in a short time.
