What kind of adventure is Hugo 2?

On a 5-reel rail journey, Hugo drives a mine trolley toward the ultimate treasure. Hugo is a hero troll made famous by a popular video game from the 90s, so he is an especially welcome character for longtime fans. Hugo is the game’s wild, substituting for regular symbols to help with wins across 10 lines. This is a Play’n GO slot sequel that brings a familiar character into an adventure slot. The presentation of racing along the rails is lively.

How do free spins unlock?

If 3 beavers appear anywhere on the reels, you get 10 free spins. The official description wittily says free spins start the moment the beaver’s buck teeth show. It doesn’t matter where they land, you just need to see 3, so the condition is simple. When two beavers show up, there’s a tension of waiting for the third. It’s the most welcome animal in this game.

What is the Beaver Cleaver feature?

Thanks to the Beaver Cleaver feature you can win free spins again, so they can continue up to 20 in a row. That means the round may not end after the first 10 and could run longer. The longer the round goes, the more chances you have to collect bags and coins. Retriggers are worth quite a lot in this structure. You keep spinning hoping to see the beaver again.

What do the bags, coins, and treasure chest do?

If you collect bags and coins along the journey, extra wilds and special symbols appear and can boost your wins considerably. The more you’ve collected, the stronger the late part of the free spins feels. At the final gate, you choose the key that opens a chest full of gold and go for the top reward. Which key you pick decides the final result. It’s a choice that crowns the end of the adventure.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.56%, and the max win is 5,000x your bet. Bonus buy is not available, so you have to trigger free spins yourself with 3 beavers. There is no official volatility figure, so in the demo, note how many free spins the Beaver Cleaver extends them to and how many bags and coins you collect. It’s fun to compare the results of the final key choice over several runs, too. Enjoy the playful spirit that is typical of the Hugo series as well.
