Matsuri

Matsuri is a 5-reel slot that captures the excitement of a traditional Japanese festival on a warm summer night, with dango, takoyaki and shaved ice as symbols. It was released on March 22, 2017, and you can try the free demo right away with no sign-up.

What scenes does Matsuri capture?

This slot brings the pulse and excitement of a Japanese summer festival to life. You make wins across 25 lines with festival-goers in yukata and treats like dango, takoyaki and kakigori. Among Play’n GO slots, it’s a title that carefully depicts East Asian culture and tradition. Its warm colors feel like strolling through a summer night festival alley.

How does the paper lantern wild change in free spins?

Normally the paper lantern is a wild that substitutes for regular symbols. In free spins, it expands into a wall of light covering the entire reel and moves one reel to the left with each spin. It keeps helping create wins over several spins until it reaches the far left and disappears. The more it lands on the right reels early in free spins, the longer it stays in play.

How many festival mask free spins do you get?

When 3 lucky festival masks land on reels 1, 3 and 5, you get 8 free spins. Each additional mask adds 2 more free spins. Since masks only land on set reels, spotting a mask on reel 1 builds anticipation. The more masks that appear, the more free spins you get, so it’s worth hoping for 3 or more at once.

How does the goldfish scooping bonus work?

When 3 goldfish appear on reels 2, 3 and 4, the Kingyo Sukui bonus begins, based on a popular Japanese festival game. You carefully scoop goldfish one by one with a thin paper scoop to collect prizes. This bonus can pay up to 500x your total bet. The presentation recreates the festival game faithfully, so it’s fun to watch too.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.15% and the max win is 3,000x your total bet. Bonus buy is not available. There’s no official volatility figure, so in the demo check how many wins the expanding lantern creates as it moves left, and how often the goldfish bonus opens. We recommend spinning slowly and soaking up the festival mood.
