Riches of RA

Riches of RA is a mythology-themed slot about the sun god Ra and the treasures of ancient Egypt. The key moment is when the outer reels fill with wilds. It was released on October 30, 2013, and you can play it right away with the free demo, no sign-up needed.

What are the features of the wild in Riches of RA?

The sun god Ra appears as a stacked wild that substitutes for every symbol except the urn. The urn is the bonus symbol. Since a stacked wild filling a whole reel leads into the free spins, it’s an Egyptian-themed game with clear conditions among Play’n GO slots. The golden atmosphere of ancient Egypt, led by the sun god Ra, comes through well.

When do free spins start?

Free spins start when stacked Ra wilds completely cover reel 1 and reel 5 at the same time. Unlike the usual 3-scatter trigger, both outer reels must be filled with wilds, which is the condition unique to this game. It’s a real letdown when only one reel fills and the other stays empty. That’s also why the thrill of both reels filling with wilds is the biggest in this game.

Do the wild reels stay during the free spins?

Yes, reels 1 and 5 stay locked as stacked wilds throughout the free spins. With both outer reels wild, you only need the middle three reels to line up for a win. However, no extra free spins are awarded during the free spins. Because the outer reels are held as wilds, several lines can hit at once depending on the combination on the middle three reels. The number of free spins isn’t given in the provided description, so check it in the demo.

How does the urn bonus work?

When 3 urn bonus symbols land anywhere on the reels, the Pick a Prize bonus opens. You pick a bonus symbol to reveal a hidden prize. Separately, you can also choose a gamble round after a win, where you guess a card’s color or suit. The gamble doubles your win if you guess the color and quadruples it if you guess the suit.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.01%, and max win is 8,032x your total bet. Bonus buy is not available. There is no official volatility figure, so use the demo to see how often reels 1 and 5 fill with wilds at the same time, and how well wins keep coming during the sticky-wild free spins. Don’t miss the moment when the sun god Ra wild fills an entire reel.
