What story does The Green Knight tell?

At a peaceful holiday feast, the Green Knight appears and issues a challenge to King Arthur, and Sir Gawain, who remains at the king’s side, accepts it. Players must guide Gawain to the Green Chapel while being tested on loyalty, honesty, and courage. The setup promises King Arthur’s praise and a reward if he returns safely, and among the Arthurian series from Play’n GO slots, this one has a distinctly chivalric narrative.

Which symbols does the shield wild substitute for?

The shield is this game’s wild and can land on any reel. It substitutes for all symbols except the Green Knight scatter and the special Green Knight symbol. As the official description says, don’t forget your defense, and the shield connecting lines is the heart of the base game. The scatter and the special Green Knight symbol can’t be substituted, so keep in mind that these two have to land on their own. The range the shield protects and the range the Green Knight holds are clearly separated.

How high can the multiplier wilds go?

The shield can appear as a multiplier wild on any spin, and its value is one of x2, x5, x10, x25, or x100. When a multiplier wild substitutes for other symbols and forms a win, the win is multiplied by the value on the shield. The moment an x100 shield lands on a line is the most dramatic scene in this game.

How does the shield multiplier change in free spins?

The duel at the Green Chapel plays out as free spins, and during them the shield always appears as a multiplier wild. The starting value is x2, and with each following free spin it moves up to the next level. Because the shield multiplier grows as free spins continue, the tension builds toward the end. The longer the duel lasts, the sturdier the shield becomes.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.25% and the max win is 10,000x your bet. There is no official volatility figure, so try the demo to get a feel for it yourself. If you note which values the multiplier shields often land on in the base game, and how many levels the shield multiplier climbs in free spins, the game’s flow becomes clear. Also keep track of how often you trigger free spins.
