Hot Tuna

Hot Tuna is a fishing-themed game where you head out to sea in search of a big, hot catch. Money symbols that a wild misses are saved on the meter and returned with a 10x multiplier, so fewer spins feel wasted.

Ocean fishing atmosphere

Rolling waves, a fishing boat, and tuna and seafood symbols create a lively mood. Asian-style cooking props are mixed in, so it feels like the fish you catch go straight to the kitchen. Volatility is medium.

Symbols and visuals

On the 5×3 grid with 10 paylines, 3 or more matching symbols pay up to 200x in the base game. A base-game win comes about once every 7.2 spins on average, which is a bit infrequent. 3-5 scatters trigger 10-20 free spins, and the feature comes in about once every 139 spins on average.

Money collect and meter

During free spins, the fisherman wild collects the money symbol values from the same spin and adds 1 free spin each time it collects. Money symbols that land without a wild are not wasted and build up on the meter. A few runs in the free slot and this mechanic makes sense quickly.

Hot Tuna free spins

When the meter fills up, 10 free spins are added and a special Hot Tuna symbol appears. If Hot Tuna lands together with a fisherman, the fisherman first collects all fish values, then the total is multiplied by 10. The max 2,500x is listed at about 1 in 580,000.
