Ice Lobster

Ice Lobster is a Pragmatic Play slot with a fishing adventure theme about searching for treasure under the sea. The lobster traps increase one by one during free spins, so watching them spread across the reels in the free demo really brings the game to life.

What kind of game is it?

It has 5×3 reels with 20 paylines, and the symbols are sea creatures, fishing hooks, and fishing rods. The golden fish wild substitutes for every symbol except scatters and money symbols. Base game wins come roughly once every 3.3 spins on average.

How many free spins do you get?

3, 4, or 5 anchor scatters start 8, 12, or 15 free spins. A lobster trap is shown in every spot where a scatter landed for the whole round. You enter the feature about once every 139 spins on average.

What is inside the lobster traps?

During free spins, each new scatter adds 1 spin, and a trap is shown in that spot if there is none there yet. When a money symbol lands on a trap, a value of up to 1,000x is paid. In other words, the more traps on the screen, the higher the chance that money symbols get caught.

When do multipliers apply?

When there are 6 or more lobster traps on screen, a 2x multiplier is applied, and with 10 or more, a 3x multiplier. So the more scatters appear early in the round, the stronger the late rounds get. The max 5,000x is about 1 in 322.58 million, which makes it a very rare result.

How is the bonus buy?

The bonus buy costs 100x and there is no ante bet. Natural entry is relatively frequent, so it helps to compare bonus buy and natural entry results in the demo before deciding. Bets range from 0.2 to 240.
