Magic Crystals

Magic Crystals is a 243-ways, 5-reel slot set in a glittering gem cave. It’s a simple game where you only need to remember two multipliers: 2x on wilds and 3x in free spins.

What to check first in the demo

Base game wins land about once every 2.1 spins, so in the slot demo you’ll hit a win nearly every other spin. It’s a 243-ways game, so as long as the same gem appears on adjacent reels starting from the first reel, it wins regardless of position. It was released in November 2015.

Feature highlights

Any win that includes a wild is calculated at 2x. In free spins you can get up to 25 spins, and every win gets 3x during the round. The moment the 2x wild and 3x free spins multipliers overlap is the big picture of this game.

Playing to the volatility

Volatility is low and the max win is 600x. With a low cap, it suits long play with frequent wins rather than chasing a big hit. Bets range from 0.3 to 240.

Free spins expectations

You enter free spins about once every 126 spins. There’s no bonus buy, so you have to wait for it, but once you’re in, the 3x is fixed, so results are relatively stable.

Summary

RTP is 96.36% and 96.35%, so there’s almost no difference between the two settings. It’s also among the simplest free slots in the gem-themed Pragmatic Play slots.
