Gold Mine Mistress

Gold Mine Mistress is a fairy-tale style slot featuring dwarfs working in a mine and a forest mistress. The core of the game is the rhythm of a wild appearing on every 8th spin. It was released on April 30, 2024, and you can try it right away as a free demo with no sign-up.

How does Gold Mine Mistress play out?

This is a 5-reel, 3-row, 20-payline game, with a shift counter above the reels that numbers each spin from 1 to 8. During spins 1 to 7 you collect gold nuggets on reel 3, and the result comes on the 8th spin. With this cyclical structure, it’s a game that keeps you waiting for the next spin, even among Red Tiger slots.

What changes when you collect Golden Nuggets?

If you’ve collected even one gold nugget, a Mistress wild appears on the 8th spin in various sizes and win multipliers. In the base game, the Mistress wild only appears on reel 3 on every 8th spin and substitutes for all regular symbols. As the official description says, the 8th spin either guarantees a win or keeps spinning until you strike gold. The closer the counter gets to 8, the more the anticipation builds.

How are free spins triggered?

When a free spins symbol (an apple) lands on reel 5, free spins with no set number of spins begin. This symbol only appears on the 8th spin of the shift and does not appear during the bonus. The free spins are notable for continuing until the Mistress meets the poisoned apple. Without any gold nuggets, even the 8th spin can pass uneventfully, so keep a close eye on reel 3.

How do the Mistress wilds change in free spins?

In free spins, the Mistress wild can land anywhere on the middle 3 reels in all the forms from the base game. When several Mistress wilds with multipliers land on a single winning line, those multipliers apply together. That’s why moments with overlapping wilds are the biggest thing to look forward to. Since there’s no fixed end, once you get in it can sometimes last longer than you’d expect.

What should I check first in the demo?

The RTP is 95.74%, the max win is 19,229x, the hit frequency is 38.21%, and the official volatility index is 17.5. Bonus buy is not available, so it’s a good idea to see in the demo how many times the 8th spin has to come around before the apple appears. The bet range is €0.1 – €50. After a few laps of the shift counter, you’ll quickly get used to the game’s rhythm.
