Hellcatraz

Hellcatraz is a prison-themed slot where mysteries hide between the cell bars. The mood suggests that sometimes being bad can be good. It was released on May 5, 2020, and you can look around the cells right away with the free demo.

How do mystery symbols open in Hellcatraz?

In the 6-reel, 46,656 ways structure, mystery symbols appear as numbered countdowns. The number drops with each chain win, and when it reaches 0 the symbol is revealed. This countdown-style mystery is the signature mechanic of this game among Relax Gaming slots.

What is the difference between Lockdown and Mixed mode?

You can choose one of two modes. In Lockdown mode, all mystery symbols start from the same counter value, and in Mixed mode they start from different values. With the same value, you can expect them to open all at once; with different values, they open one after another. Just choosing the mode that suits you changes the rhythm of the game quite a bit, so try both modes in the demo.

What happens when I collect 2,000 keys?

Each key symbol gives 1-10 keys. When 2,000 keys are collected, Super Free Spins unlock, where mystery symbols are revealed immediately. Golden Mystery symbols give extra spins after just 2 chain wins, so the bonus can run longer. Keys are a goal that accumulates throughout the base game, so the more you keep spinning, the more fun it is to check your progress.

What about hit frequency and bet range?

Hit frequency is listed as a wide range of 19.92%-23.22%. The bet range is €0.10 – €25, and bonus buy is available. If you open the bonus directly in the demo, you can see how quickly mystery symbols are revealed. It is also good to compare how it feels against the base game. Also look at how the flow changes depending on the mode you choose.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 96.46%, volatility is very high, and the max win is 51,840x. First, see how many chain wins it takes for the countdown to reach 0, then pick whether you prefer Lockdown or Mixed. It also helps to check how fast the keys build up. Since you can see the numbers dropping on screen, it is fun to spin while guessing when it will open.
