If I have played Starburst, what is new?

The name and space mood come from the original Starburst, but this is a Tap-a-roo game where a single tap decides the result instead of reels and wilds. There are 14 cash prize cells on the screen, and prizes are multiples of your current bet from 0.2x to 250x. As the official intro says, a single tap being twice as fast as a regular spin is something you can really feel.

When does Starburst go off?

With every bet, some of the light rays on the big central star light up, and when all rays are lit, Starburst triggers and randomly activates 3 cells. If a cash cell is hit, you get that prize, and if a combo cell is hit, Starburst happens one more time. The number of lit rays is just presentation, and the star’s trigger is random. So a single Starburst may not be the end, and a chain can follow.

What do the combo stars do?

Above the big star there are 3 small stars labeled combo. Each time Starburst happens, one of them can light up to trigger Starburst once more, and it can chain up to 4 times in a round. Since 3 cells open each time, the longer the combo runs, the more prizes you can receive. Combo stars light up by chance each time Starburst happens, so you cannot know in advance when it will continue.

How are the prize multipliers distributed?

The 14 cells hold 0.2x, 0.3x, 0.5x, 0.7x, 0.8x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 25x, 100x, and 250x. With five cells under 1x, small wins mix in often, while the 100x and 250x cells handle the big wins. The 10x, 15x, and 25x cells support the middle range in between.
