Gates of Thunder

What role does Thor play in Gates of Thunder?

Thor appears as the guardian standing against the chaos threatening the gates of Asgard. You spin the 6×5 reels alongside Thor, taking part in a hero quest to defend Asgard. As a Spinon title, you can find it in the Yggdrasil slots YGG Masters lineup.

How do the tumbling symbols chain together?

On the 6×5 reels, a win makes symbols tumble down as new symbols fill in. The win method is cluster pays, so each time a cascade continues, you get another chance to form a new group. As the official description puts it, every spin and cascade brings you closer to the treasure. The longer the cascade runs, the more the excitement builds along with the lightning effects. The pace is fast as a result.

What does the lightning multiplier do?

Amid the lightning and thunder effects, powerful multipliers appear and boost your wins. They build up along with tumbles, so the longer the cascade runs, the higher the expectations. Check the exact multiplier values in the demo’s paytable. That’s why spins with long tumble chains are more likely to let Thor’s lightning create bigger wins.

Can I try it right away with bonus buy?

Yes, bonus buy is supported. Because this is a very high volatility game, reaching the bonus through the base game alone can take a long time. It helps to check the feel of multipliers in the bonus section in the demo first. Very high volatility games are hard to judge over a few spins, so it’s best to compare several bonus buy results to get a sense of the flow.

What should I check first in the demo?

The base RTP is 94.00%, and a 90.5% version also exists. Volatility is very high, and the max win is 10,000x. Bets range from €0.2 to €25, so in the demo, first see how long the tumble chains run and how often multipliers appear. Get used to the 6×5 cluster flow too. Enjoy Thor’s lightning effects as well.
