Reel Desire

Reel Desire is a disco-concept game that captures the golden-age nightclub atmosphere of the 1970s and 80s, taking you back to a time overflowing with love and disco. It was released on February 25, 2021, and you can play it right away with the free demo.

What kind of atmosphere does Reel Desire have?

A disco-themed game set in 1970s and 1980s nightclubs. It uses a 1024-ways system, so you don’t need to worry about lines; a win lands as long as the same symbols connect. Among Yggdrasil slots, it’s a work that truly brings out retro charm, with a concept of spinning the reels as if dancing all night.

What does the double wild do?

Double wild symbols give an x2 multiplier and also trigger a respin. If more double wilds land during a respin, the respins keep going. Since the screen fills up with wilds as they keep coming, anticipation grows once it gets going. Try counting how many times it chains in the demo.

How is the max x20,480 reached?

When the whole screen fills with wild reels in a full board, the max win of x20,480 is paid. It’s not an easy sight to see, but the longer the double wild respins chain, the closer you get to that goal. This is also why the game has high volatility. Once you see it, it’s hard to forget.

How many free spins modes are there?

The official description mentions that there are several free spins modes. Details on each mode’s rules are not publicly available, so it’s best to compare how each mode differs in the demo yourself. The way wilds build up may differ by mode, so take notes. There is also some fun in finding which mode suits you best.

What should I check first in the demo?

The RTP is 96.00% with high volatility, and the official max win is x20,480 with a full board of wilds. In the demo, watch how many times the double wild respins chain on average and how often free spins mode is triggered. Since the volatility is high, give it plenty of spins.
