Medusa II
Medusa II Free Slot Demo review
Medusa II is a Medusa series slot where you play the Greek warrior Perseus and set out to defeat Medusa, who is hiding in the ruins of Athens. It was released on March 20, 2018, and you can spin it right away with the free demo, no sign-up needed.
What story does Medusa II tell?
The setting is a land where people have been turned to stone, after Medusa took up residence in the ruins of Athens, once a sacred garden. You play as Perseus, entering the Gorgon’s lair to face Medusa. True to an early PG Soft slot, it has a classic structure of 5 reels, 3 rows and 30 paylines.
What attack does Medusa use in free spins?
Medusa usually watches menacingly beside the reels, then hits the reels with a transformation attack when free spins begin. According to the official description, this can lead to consecutive wilds or a shot at big wins. The free spins section is the centerpiece of this game. The tension of watching which reel Medusa targets is quite rewarding too.
How are weapons used in the bonus stage?
In the bonus stage, you use Perseus’s weapons to block Medusa’s attacks and strike back. The setup is that defeating Medusa with courage and wisdom means victory, while failure means the fate of a stone prison, and this carries through in the presentation. It adds a story flow to a simple payline game. It’s also the scene where the series’ mythical atmosphere comes through the strongest.
Do wins come often with a 30-payline structure?
The listed hit frequency is 43.12%, meaning a win lands roughly once every two or three spins. Volatility is medium too, so you get a mix of small, steady wins and the occasional big one. Bonus buy is not available, so free spins and the bonus stage can only be reached through natural triggers. That makes it a good fit for keeping things going with small early wins while waiting for the bonus.
What should I check first in the demo?
The is 94.96%, a bit lower than today’s games, with medium volatility and a max win of 550x. The bet range is wide, from €0.3 – €375. In the demo, first check how often free spins trigger and how long the wilds keep coming after Medusa’s transformation attack. It’s a classic 30-payline game with simple rules, so even first-timers get used to it quickly.
