2026 acquisition

In March 2026, The Visualize Group, an investment firm in New York, acquired BMM. It is reported to be the first time control of a major game testing body has passed to an investment firm. It drew attention because game testing is a hard market to enter, requiring approvals from hundreds of jurisdictions.

What it means for players

When a provider or casino advertises “BMM certified,” it means that game’s RNG and math model were tested by an independent body. Certification means the game works fairly as displayed, not that you can win. Rather than judging a casino by a certification mark alone, it is better to also check the operator’s license. Similar bodies include GLI and eCOGRA.
