Butterfly Staxx 2
Butterfly Staxx 2 Free Slot Demo review
Butterfly Staxx 2 is a 5-reel, 4-row, 40-payline slot set at the edge of a mysterious walled garden. It was released on August 22, 2019, and with the free demo you can chase golden butterflies with no sign-up.
What is the mood of Butterfly Staxx 2?
The setting is the edge of a mysterious garden, with mountains and green hills in the distance. Flowers and golden butterflies bloom across a deep blue game board with a gold border, making the screen very bright. It’s a NetEnt slot with a 5-reel, 4-row, 40-payline structure, and the butterfly symbols are at the center of every feature. The bet range is wide, from 0.25 to 1,250 euros.
Do play zones expand during the respin?
Yes, when 4 butterfly symbols stack and completely cover one reel, the respin begins. During the respin, a second and third play zone can open, so the screen can expand to up to three. The more zones there are, the more places to chase wins in the same spin, so the moment butterflies fill a reel is the most welcome. Try to catch all three zones opening in the demo.
What can you choose when scatters land?
When scatters land on reels 1, 3, and 5, you can choose between Butterfly Spin and Butterfly Frenzy. Butterfly Spin gives you 5 spins with all three zones open from the start, and only cocoon symbols land on the reels. Butterfly Frenzy, on the other hand, is a bonus game where you catch butterflies to collect coins. The two bonuses have different characters, so choosing is part of the fun.
How does Butterfly Frenzy work?
It’s a pick-and-click bonus where you choose butterflies to build up coin wins and advance through up to 5 stages. You start with 10 picks, and each stage adds 10 more, on top of any picks left over from the previous stage. You can pick manually or let it auto-pick, so it’s easy to play without pressure. As the stages go up, your remaining picks stack up too.
What should I check first in the demo?
The is 96.35%, the volatility is medium, and the max win is 300x your bet. The hit frequency is 25%. The max win is low, but the flow is comfortable, so try alternating between the two bonuses in the demo to see which one you like better. Bonus buy is not available. You can compare both bonuses thoroughly in the demo.
Pros
- Play zones expanding to up to three
- Choose between two bonuses
