Chocolates
Chocolates Free Slot Demo review
Chocolates is a sweet 4×4 slot that follows its predecessor Donuts, hiding hefty payouts beneath a simple screen. It was released on October 12, 2020, and you can spin it right away in the free demo with no sign-up.
How is the Chocolates slot structured?
The screen is a simple 4 reels by 4 rows, but when boxes open, the number of symbols on each reel increases, creating up to 65,536 ways to win. Like its predecessor Donuts, it simplifies the ways mechanic to make it accessible to everyone. Even so, payouts are large despite the looks, and the big hit that is typical of a Big Time Gaming slot is fully intact.
What comes out when a box opens?
When a box opens, it reveals up to 4 chocolate symbols, and the reel’s symbol count grows by the number revealed. All boxes that land in one spin open to the same chocolate, so when boxes appear across several reels, the same symbol fills the screen and the number of ways to win balloons at once. The moment the small 4×4 screen suddenly widens is the highlight of this game.
How is the Golden Ticket Wild different from a regular wild?
Both the regular wild and the Golden Ticket Wild substitute for all symbols except scatters and boxes, and appear only on reels 2 to 4. The difference is the multiplier. The Golden Ticket Wild multiplies the win by 6x each time it takes part in a win, so it is a key device behind big wins even in the base game. The effect grows even larger when it overlaps with reels expanded by boxes.
How do sticky box free spins work?
3 scatters start 7 free spins, and 4 scatters start 10. During free spins no scatters appear, but instead all boxes become sticky boxes that stay in place until the end of the round, and at least 1 of the triggering scatters also becomes a sticky box. When a reel is completely filled with 4 sticky boxes, 3 spins are added for each such reel. The more boxes stick, the heavier the later spins get.
What should I check first in the demo?
is 96.67%, volatility is very high (9.7/10), and the max win is 32,040x. Hit frequency is 38.22%, so wins land fairly often, but the big payouts are concentrated in free spins. Bonus buy costs 95x for 7 free spins, so try buying a few times in the demo to see how many sticky boxes build up.
