Cat Wilde and the Doom of Dead

Cat Wilde and the Doom of Dead is an adventure slot where Cat Wilde, daughter of the legendary explorer Rich Wilde, steps out of her father’s shadow to chase the secrets of ancient Egypt. It was released on June 25, 2020, and you can spin it right away in the free demo with no sign-up.

Who is Cat Wilde, and how is this game structured?

Cat Wilde is the daughter of the world-famous explorer Rich Wilde, and she sets out into an uninhabited desert to build a reputation to match her father’s. The game has a 5-reel, 10-payline structure, with mysterious Egyptian relics as the regular symbols. If you first met Rich Wilde in Book of Dead, this title continues the story with his daughter in the same Play’n GO slots lineage.

How does the expanding wild in the form of the dead king and queen move?

Expanding wilds can land anywhere on the 5 reels, and the moment they land they stretch to fill the entire reel. Five long-departed Egyptian kings and queens appear as wilds. Since a whole reel turns wild, you get a better chance to complete several paylines at once than with regular wilds that don’t expand. When royal wilds land on two or more reels at the same time, the screen feels a lot stronger.

What happens when you collect compass scatters?

The compass scatter lands only on reels 1, 3, and 5, and when 3 appear together, 10 free spins begin. If you hit this scatter again during free spins, you can get 10 more. Once you know scatters only appear on odd-numbered reels, waiting for the last reel after landing on reels 1 and 3 first is even more exciting.

What is the desert atmosphere like in Cat Wilde and the Doom of Dead?

The setting is a quiet desert dune with only the wind passing through, and Egyptian relics on the reels create a mysterious atmosphere. A long-dead royal awakening as a wild adds the dark, eerie tension the title promises. The tone is closer to a mysterious tomb exploration than the bright adventure feel typical of explorer games. It suits you especially well if you prefer a horror-leaning mood over a classic explorer one.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.22%, and the max win is 5,000x your bet. Bonus buy is not available, so free spins open only when you collect 3 compass scatters yourself. There is no official volatility figure, so get a feel for it in the demo by counting how often expanding wilds appear and how many spins it takes to reach free spins.
