Twisted Sister

Twisted Sister is a music-themed grid slot based on the rock band Twisted Sister’s signature songs I Wanna Rock and We’re Not Gonna Take It. It was released on June 4, 2020, and you can enjoy the rock stage right away in the free demo with no sign-up.

What is the concept of Twisted Sister?

This rock slot brings the band’s heyday style to a 6×6 cascade grid. The visuals and presentation are built around two signature songs, and the rebellious stage atmosphere comes through strongly. Even among the music series of Play’n GO slots based on real bands, its character feels especially distinct. The mood of both songs is woven throughout the screen, so turning the sound on makes it far more immersive.

What symbols appear on the reels?

Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, Eddie “Fingers” Ojeda, Mark “The Animal” Mendoza, and Anthony “A. J.” Pero all appear as symbols. The low symbols are decorated with band merchandise like LPs, guitar picks, badges, and record sleeves. Fans will enjoy spotting them. The symbol designs also capture the band’s image from those days with real care.

What is the Angry Dad wild scatter?

This game has two kinds of wilds. One is a stylish regular wild, and the other is a wild scatter showing the Angry Dad, played by actor Mark Metcalf in the band’s music video. As a character symbolizing the older generation the band rebelled against, he is a source of laughs every time he appears. The moment Angry Dad shows up on screen is practically the signature scene of this game.

What does the regular wild substitute for?

The regular wild substitutes for every symbol except the wild scatter to form winning combinations. The wild scatter handles the scatter function on top of substituting, so when both wilds are on screen at once, things get busier. It helps to watch where the wilds land as symbols cascade down. Where the regular wild stays determines how the next chain plays out.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.2% and the max win is 4,500x your bet. Bonus buy is not available, so you have to wait for the Angry Dad flow to appear on its own. There is no official volatility figure, so get a feel for it in the demo by watching how many cascades chain together and how often wild scatters appear. On a 6×6 grid, once a chain gets going, the screen changes quite a lot.
