Lure of Fortune

Lure of Fortune is a fishing-themed slot where you become the captain and sail the seas through all four seasons to reel in treasure. Its signature feature is choosing your own route, and it was released on November 7, 2023. You can set sail right away with the free demo, no sign-up needed.

What does choosing a route mean in Lure of Fortune?

As captain, you decide your route between calm waters and rough waves. According to the official description, you can choose between a medium volatility sea and a very high volatility sea. Even within the same game, the feel changes quite a bit depending on your choice. Among Relax Gaming slots, it’s a good pick for matching the tempo to your taste.

How does the base game work?

This is a 5-reel cluster slot, so matching symbols that group together win. Cluster wins and multiplier upgrades keep coming as you sail. The more the multiplier builds, the more valuable your next cluster win becomes. Since the multiplier grows stronger with each consecutive cluster win, streaks are especially worth watching for. The seasonal sea backdrops add to the fun of watching, too.

How do I get into the bonus?

Land 3 bonus symbols and the dive-in bonus begins. The goal is to pull the fish as close to the boat as possible. The closer the fish gets, the closer you come to the treasure beyond the horizon. Once you enter the bonus, a completely different screen unfolds, and it feels like starting a brand new adventure. Watch how the fish come closer for yourself.

What do the helpers in the bonus do?

A Persistent Hammer Octopus, a Persistent Payer Worm, and a Persistent Spawner Fish appear. As the names suggest, they stay throughout the bonus and help pull the fish toward the boat. Which helper shows up and when has a big influence on the bonus result. All three helpers are persistent, so once one appears, it keeps helping for the whole bonus, which is a big plus.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 96.1% and volatility is classified as medium-high. The max win is quite high at 50,000x. The bet range is listed as €0.10 – €200/€50/€20, and bonus buy is available, so try picking between the two routes in the demo and compare the difference. Jotting down how the bonus feels on each route makes comparing much easier.
