What is the story of Holmes & the Stolen Stones?

The official description says it’s time to solve the mystery of Holmes and the stolen gems. It brings the feel of a detective story, with a master detective chasing the missing gems, onto the reels. It’s a particularly welcome theme among Yggdrasil slots for anyone who likes detective stories. So rather than judging after a few quick spins, it’s better to watch it for a while.

Does it have a jackpot too?

Yes, the game type lists a jackpot. Beyond regular wins, having a jackpot as an extra goal is part of this game’s appeal. Jackpot conditions and amounts can vary by casino and version, so check the game info screen in the demo. It may look like a small difference, but it feels quite significant in actual play, so it helps to know in advance.

How does the collection element work?

The game type also lists a collection element, so progress builds up with each spin, much like gathering clues. It fits the detective theme of continuing an investigation and collecting evidence. You need to run the demo for a good while to get a feel for how fast the collection progresses. Keeping just this in mind makes it much easier to follow what is happening on screen.

What is play like with low volatility?

With low volatility, small wins tend to come relatively often. Your balance moves gently, which makes it good for collecting the collection step by step and playing for a long time. That said, it suits this game better to place your hopes on the jackpot rather than big regular wins. If you set your budget by play time rather than bet amount, you’ll feel much calmer even when the flow wobbles.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 96.80% and volatility is low, with wins decided across 20 paylines. In the demo, first look at how quickly the collection builds up and how the jackpot-related display appears. Checking the symbol payouts in the paytable as well makes the flow easier to read. Jotting down what you notice in the demo gives you a good reference point for when you play for real later.
