Sahara Nights

Sahara Nights is a video slot where, with the words “Open Sesame!”, you enter the desert night in search of gold and wishes. It was released on September 24, 2019, and you can enjoy it right away with the free demo, no sign-up needed.

What is the mood of Sahara Nights?

Opening its introduction with the famous spell “Open Sesame,” the game is set in an Arabian Nights-style desert night. The concept of chasing gold and wishes is clear, so it suits players who like exotic themes. If you’re looking for a work with a desert and night sky feel among Yggdrasil slots, it’s worth a look. The fairy-tale premise of a treasure vault opening with a single spell also makes the theme easy to follow.

How does the gold and wishes theme carry through?

The official description sums up the game in one sentence: head into Sahara Nights in pursuit of gold and wishes. It combines a wish-granting story with a treasure hunt concept. Try the demo to see how this theme comes through in the visuals. Thanks to the familiar fairy-tale material, even first-time players can easily guess where the story is going.

Is the gameplay easy to follow?

It uses 20 paylines, so the structure is intuitive. A win lands when the same symbols line up on a set line, so even first-timers can follow along easily. The theme is flashy but the rules are fairly simple, so it’s low-pressure. With a moderate number of lines, it’s also nice for following the winning lines by eye while enjoying the themed visuals.

What should I watch out for with high volatility?

High volatility means the gaps between wins can be long, but when a win lands, it can be big. Judging the game after a short session can make you miss its true character. Spin the demo plenty and get a feel in advance for how long the quiet stretches can last. If you learn the flow in the demo first, you can play calmly without getting impatient in real sessions.

What should I check first in the demo?

The RTP is listed at 96.2% and the volatility is high. The max win is 3,068x your bet. In the demo, check the high-paying symbols in the paytable first, then spin a few dozen times and note how often the 20 lines pay out. That gets you a feel for the game quickly. As your notes build up, you can judge this game’s win rhythm for yourself.
