Fortune Snake

Fortune Snake is a new entry in the Fortune family series, set around a legendary snake called “Golden Scale” with golden scales who summons the twelve zodiac animals for a hip-hop party every Lunar New Year. It has a release date of January 6, 2025, and you can try it right away with the free demo, no sign-up needed.

What kind of game is Fortune Snake?

A Fortune family series title, this time starring a golden snake who loves hip-hop. It uses a 3-4-3 layout, with 3 rows on reels 1 and 3 and 4 rows on the middle reel 2, with 10 paylines running across it. If you’re looking for a simple 3-reel game among PG Soft slots, this is one of the first series that comes to mind. The red-and-gold Lunar New Year look is bright and cheerful too.

How does the reel 2 4-wild x10 trigger?

The middle reel 2 has 4 rows, so wilds can stack vertically. When all 4 spots on reel 2 fill with wilds, an x10 multiplier is applied to the win. It’s the first moment highlighted in the official one-line description, so you’ll find yourself waiting for the middle reel to fill with wilds. You only need to focus on one middle reel, so the rules are quick to learn.

When does the Fortune Snake feature trigger?

The Fortune Snake feature triggers randomly on any spin, and respins follow once it triggers. There’s no need to collect scatters; it simply starts out of nowhere, so a big moment can open up at any time, even during an ordinary spin. When the feature starts, the golden snake’s hip-hop party visuals are added, making it flashy to watch too. The anticipation of not knowing when it will hit on each spin is the charm of this series.

What does the bonus bet do?

Turning on the bonus bet doubles your chance of entering the Fortune Snake feature. It’s a good option for players who want to see the feature more often. In the demo, compare how often the feature appears with it on and off to feel the difference. Since the bet conditions change, it’s best to look at your base bet and results separately. In a game built around random features, this option plays a big role.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 96.75%, volatility is low, and the max win is 5,000x. Hit frequency is 20.25%, and the bet range is €0.2 to €200. In the demo, check how often reel 2 with 4 wilds x10 shows up, and how much more often you enter the feature with the bonus bet on. Since the features are random, it’s best to spin plenty of times.
