Beasts of Fire

Beasts of Fire is an action slot built on the story of a meteor that crashed into a snowy plain hundreds of years ago, hitting a herd of buffalo and filling them with an otherworldly fire. It was released on December 23, 2021, and you can play it right away with the free demo.

What is the setting of Beasts of Fire?

The story goes that a giant meteor was falling toward Earth when it struck a powerful herd of buffalo, filling them with blazing energy. The player’s role is to outrun this stampeding herd and claim that power. This is a Play’n GO slot that takes an animal theme and gives it an action feel, so the presentation is quite intense. Just the sight of flame-wrapped buffalo charging across the reels lifts the atmosphere.

What does the Buffalo Stack do?

This game is designed around Buffalo Stacks that drop onto the reels. Because the buffalo land stacked across several positions, ways wins that continue onto adjacent reels are easy to create all at once. A screen filled with a herd of buffalo is the signature scene of this game. The moment one reel fills with buffalo, you find yourself waiting for the next reel to follow.

How many ways do the expanding reels add?

It starts at a base of 576 ways, and when the expanding reels feature triggers, the ways to win grow to exactly 12,348. As the reels get bigger, there is more room for Buffalo Stacks, so win sizes can change a lot when the two features overlap. The grid size differs so much between the base and expanded states that an expanded-reel spin feels like a completely different game. This shift is the core tension of the game.

Is the feature set simple?

The two key features introduced in the official description are Buffalo Stacks and expanding reels. There are not many feature types, but the two connect naturally with the story, keeping you immersed. It’s a good fit if you prefer one big hit over complicated rules. Another plus is that you can enjoy it right away without reading long feature explanations.

What should I check first in the demo?

RTP is 94.27% and the max win is 25,000x your bet, so the ceiling is quite high. There is no official volatility figure, so try the demo to get a feel for it. Watch how often the expanding reels trigger and how many reels the Buffalo Stack extends across while expanded, and you’ll see what it takes to land a big win. With a ceiling this high, keep observing which combinations produce the big wins.
