Boom City is a Pragmatic Play live game show that uses two dice to decide the winning square on a 6×6 board. It was released in July 2022 and has three bonus games and a Power Up feature. According to the official press release, the max win is 20,000x. At AI Slot, we introduce the game’s structure and features without a live broadcast.

OVERVIEW

What kind of game is it?

The board is 6 squares by 6 squares, 36 squares in total. The gold die picks the column and the blue die picks the row, and the square where the two lines meet is the result of that round. The squares mix instant prizes of 1x (Bronze), 2x (Silver), and 5x (Gold) with Bust squares that end the round immediately and bonus game squares.

FEATURE

What is Power Up?

The board has four Power Up squares. According to a statistics site, landing on a Power Up square turns Bust squares into 1x and the dice are rolled once more. Other squares can also be randomly upgraded to 1x, 2x, or 5x at this point.

BONUS

How do the three bonus games differ?

In Dice Battle, you pick one of two dice, each is rolled three times, and the side with the higher total wins. In Boom or Bust, you climb the board one level at a time and choose whether to stop or keep going, with Level Up, Safe Value, and Hyper Jump features helping you along. In Lucky Drop, you pick one of six lines and the dice are rolled six times, and you receive a multiplier each time a number on your chosen line comes up.

MULTIPLIER

What is the biggest multiplier?

The max win stated in the official press release is 20,000x. According to a statistics site, if one side’s die rolls a 6 all three times in Dice Battle, an extra 500x prize is added. Among the instant prizes on the base game board, the 5x on the Gold square is the largest.
