Lightning Roulette is a live roulette game released by Evolution in 2018 that adds lightning multipliers to regular roulette. Its signature feature is lightning picking a few numbers each round and attaching payouts of up to 500x. AI Slot introduces the game structure and features without a live stream.

OVERVIEW

What kind of game is it?

A single-zero European roulette with the numbers 0 and 1 through 36. It runs on an automated wheel, and the host handles the lightning presentation. The basic rules and betting methods are the same as regular roulette, with the difference that lightning multipliers apply only to straight-up bets on a single number.

HOW TO PLAY

How are Lucky Numbers chosen?

When betting closes, the host pulls a lever and lightning picks 1 to 5 numbers as Lucky Numbers. Each Lucky Number gets a random lucky payout between 50x and 500x. If the ball stops on that number and you bet on it as a straight-up, you are paid at the attached payout.

PAYOUT

How do the payouts differ from regular roulette?

A straight-up bet without a lightning multiplier pays 29:1 instead of the 35:1 of regular roulette. In exchange, hitting a Lucky Number pays 50x to 500x. Other bets such as red and black or odd and even keep the regular roulette payouts.

RTP

Does RTP differ by bet?

According to stats site data, bets other than straight-up have a 97.30% RTP and straight-up bets have 97.10%. The two values differ slightly because lightning multipliers apply only to straight-up bets. The official page does not publish the RTP separately.
