Nolimit City’s Duck Hunters 2: 16,384x Cell Multipliers and Grandma’s Bomb
A rundown of Nolimit City’s new release Duck Hunters 2. The key points are a 5×6 scatter-pays grid with cell multipliers that double each time (up to 16,384x), Infectious xWays, and three upgradeable bonuses. RTP 96%, max win 40,000x.

Key takeaways
- Nolimit City released a new entry in the Duck Hunters series on September 10.
- Cells where symbols disappeared get a multiplier, and each win on the same cell doubles it, up to 16,384x.
- xWays, Infectious xWays and Grandma’s bomb shake up the board.
- Each of the three bonuses comes with random upgrades. RTP is 96.00% and max win is 40,000x.
The Duck Hunters family is back for a third round. In the first game, Duck Hunters, they shot ducks in the forest, and in the second, Duck Hunters: Happy Hour, they put the guns down and headed to a bar. According to the announcement, nobody remembers much of that night. All that’s left is that Grandma got involved.
“Duck Hunters 2,” released on September 10, goes back to the forest. The announcement, written in country dialect, ends with “I got a feeling this hunt won’t go like it used to.” What actually happens on the board is a long way from the first game.
A board where only 8 are needed
The game uses scatter pays, so 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid make a win. When winning symbols disappear, new ones drop in with a tumble. So far it is a common structure. What differs is the cell multiplier left where symbols disappear.

Cells where symbols disappear get a 2x multiplier. If that cell wins again on the next drop, the multiplier doubles. It keeps climbing through 2, 4, 8, 16, and a single cell can reach 16,384x. At the start of each spin, multipliers may also be pre-placed on random cells.
16,384 is 2 multiplied by itself fourteen times. You’d need fourteen wins in a row on the same cell to reach it, so it’s hard to see happening in practice. Nolimit City even built a side bet specifically for this number. We cover it below.
The key to this cell multiplier system is that multipliers attach to individual cells rather than the whole board. If a high symbol lands on a cell with a big multiplier and joins a win, the entire win grows. That is why you often see only one zone of the board heat up as chains repeat in the same spot. In the base game, cell multipliers disappear when the spin ends, but in the bonus they stay.
xWays and the bomb
Two features shake up the board. The first is xWays. This symbol turns into a regular symbol and raises its cell’s multiplier by 2x, 4x or 8x. Infectious xWays goes a step further. It grows every matching symbol on the board to the same size as the revealed symbol. When several drop together, they all open as the same symbol.

The second feature is the bomb. It arrives with the line “Grandma, bring the dynamite.” When there are no more wins, the bomb explodes and wipes out every symbol above it. Multipliers climb like stairs: 2x on the bomb’s cell, 4x on the cell directly above, and 8x on the one above that. Bonus symbols survive the blast.

Where the bomb meets cell multipliers is the fun of this game. The bomb clears the top of the reel while planting multipliers in each cell, and new symbols drop into the empty spots. If the new symbols make a win, the planted multipliers double again. One bomb effectively lays down multipliers for the next several chain steps. If there are several bombs, they all explode together before the next drop.
Three bonuses and upgrades
The bonus depends on the number of bonus symbols. What they share is that cell multipliers stay for the whole bonus and random upgrades are added. If an Extra +1 Shot symbol drops, you get one more spin.
| Bonus | Conditions | Return | Upgrade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Duck Hunt Spin | 3 Bonus symbols | 7 times | 1 |
| Hawk Eye Spin | 4 Bonus symbols | 8 spins | 2 |
| Big Game Spin | 5 Bonus symbols | 10 spins | 3 |
| xWays Juicer Spin | Buy for 500x bet | 7 times | Upgraded xWays only |
| Bomb Juicer Spin | Buy for 2,800x bet | 7 times | Upgraded bomb only |
Upgrades are drawn from six options. xWays turns into Infectious, the bomb becomes an upgraded bomb that blasts both up and down, or the +1 Shot becomes a +2 Shot. Others add 5 extra multipliers on the first spin, add one spin, or grant two more upgrades.

If the +2 Upgrade comes up among the upgrades, two more upgrades are added. Even if you start with 7 Duck Hunt Spins, with some luck it can become a round on par with Big Game Spin. On the other hand, if the three upgrades in Big Game Spin all turn out to be light ones like extra spins or extra multipliers, it can end more quietly than expected. The design makes which upgrades you draw matter more than which bonus tier you get.
The upgraded bomb is especially dangerous. It blasts up and down together, spreading multipliers to both sides: 2x on the bomb’s cell, 4x directly above and below, then 8x beyond that. The Bomb Juicer Spin, which pays 2,800x your bet, guarantees this upgraded bomb on every one of its 7 spins.

Shooting Grandma with a Side Hustle
It also includes the Side Hustle feature that Nolimit City recently started adding. It is a side bet where you pay a little extra per spin to wager separately on a specific outcome. If that outcome happens, you get a fixed payout separate from any other wins. You can place several at once.
The options are very Nolimit. You bet on who gets “removed”: Santa, Grandma, Phil, the Gamer, the Fanboy or the Duck. There is also a bet on a single cell reaching 16,384x, and one on 2 bonus symbols landing in the base game. There is even a Dead Spin, which bets on a spin that ends with no win at all. You are betting on a blank. It is the most Nolimit option of all the Side Hustles.

| Booster | Cost | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus Booster | 2.5x bet | Bonus guaranteed on the top of reel 2 |
| Naughty Spin | 40x | Starts with 4 coconuts and 1 banana |
| Naughtier Spin | 400x | Starts with 10 coconuts and 1 banana |
| Big Load x3 | 9x | Starts with 3x multipliers on every cell |
| Bigger Load x6 | 80x | Starts with 6x multipliers on every cell |
| Biggest Load x15 | 3,000x | Starts with 15x multipliers on every cell |
There is also xTra Spin, which takes your cell multipliers into one more spin after the board ends. Sometimes cheaper options appear alongside, in exchange for halving the multipliers. The options appear only when the price is lower than your previous spin’s win.
The coconut and banana in the booster names are special symbols on the grid. The announcement gives no explanation, saying only that “the names say it all.” The priciest booster, Biggest Load x15, starts every cell at 15x. Compared with a regular spin that starts at 2x, the cell multipliers begin several steps ahead. xTra Spin has no bonus symbols dropping, and the choices appear only if you land a base game scatter win. A Side Hustle win alone is not enough.
In short
Max win is 40,000x, far more than double that of the first Duck Hunters. Nolimit City rates the volatility “extremely high.” RTP is 96.00%. Product owner Per Lindheimer said, “If we were going to do Duck Hunters again, we had to do it right. We brought over everything that worked in the original and gave Bubba a bigger toolbox.”
In short, it is a board with cell multipliers that double each time, xWays and the bomb to grow it, a bonus with upgrades, and a side bet where you shoot Grandma. Together with its swamp-themed sibling Gator Hunters, you can see where Nolimit’s “Hunters” series is heading.
