Thor’s Rage came out on July 31, 2025. It was a scatter pays game where 8 matching symbols anywhere on the 6×5 board win, with a max win of 10,000x. Fourteen months later, on September 24, Red Tiger released the sequel. It keeps the board and win rules and splits the bonus into two paths.

The max win is double the original’s

Based on our game page, the original had an RTP of 95.67% and a max win of 10,000x. The sequel has an RTP of 96.11% and a max win of 20,000x. The maximum bet rose from €40 to €500. Hit frequency is 27.63%, and the official volatility index is 32.36.

Wins work the same as in the original. 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the board win, and the payout is based on the number of matching symbols visible when the spin ends. Winning symbols disappear and new symbols drop in a cascade. If you’ve played 6×5 games like Gates of Olympus, it will feel familiar right away.

Wilds in a win stay as multipliers

In the sequel, wilds substitute for all regular symbols. A wild used in a win doesn’t disappear during a cascade and turns into a multiplier symbol instead. When all cascades end, the values of the multiplier symbols on the board are added together and applied to that spin’s wins.

Multiplier values come in 16 steps from 2x to 1,000x: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1,000x. A wild only becomes a multiplier if it takes part in a win, so even in the base game, a spin where a wild lands is worth watching until the cascade ends.

Multipliers are added, not multiplied. If a 2x and a 5x remain on the board when the cascade ends, that spin’s wins get 7x. The longer the cascade, the more wilds take part in wins, and the more multiplier symbols pile up on the board. In the base game, big wins usually come at the end of a long cascade like this.

The bonus begins by flipping a hammer

4 scatters give 15 free spins, and 5 give 15 Super Free Spins. Landing 3 or 4 scatters during the round adds 5 spins, and with 4, the remaining spins are upgraded to Super Spins.

Even a regular bonus entered with 4 scatters turns all remaining spins into Super Spins if you land 4 scatters again along the way. Even if you start at the regular tier, there’s a path upward. 3 scatters add spins only, while 4 raise both the spin count and the tier.

When the bonus starts, two hammers appear on screen. Picking one reveals whether this bonus is Storm Spins or Thunder Spins. The two bonuses handle multipliers in completely different ways.

Storm Spins stack multipliers to the end

In Storm Spins, the multiplier values used in wins are saved as a running total at the top of the board. This total is not reset until the bonus ends. Each time a new multiplier is used in a win, it’s added to the total.

Storm Super Spins differ in two ways. Every multiplier symbol drops at 5x minimum, and the running total applies to all wins. Even a win with no new multiplier gets multiplied by the total you’ve built up.

The difference from regular Storm Spins is big here. In regular Storm Spins, the running total only moves on spins where a new multiplier is used in a win. In Super, once the total builds up, it attaches to every later win. If you grab a big multiplier early, that value keeps working for the rest of your spins.

Thunder Spins fill a progress bar

In Thunder Spins, multiplier and wild symbols all turn into Keeper Wilds, and a 3-stage progress bar appears beside the reels. Each stage has 3 slots, and each Keeper Wild that lands fills one slot. The Keeper Wild that fills the last slot of a stage turns into that stage’s multiplier: 25x for stage 1, 100x for stage 2, and 500x for stage 3.

Filling all 3 stages takes 9 Keeper Wilds. If Storm Spins build up multipliers a little at a time, Thunder Spins hand you a big multiplier in one go each time a set slot is filled. The outcome splits like stairs depending on how many Keeper Wilds land.

In Thunder Super Spins, Keeper Wilds turn into multipliers of at least 5x, and the progress bar values rise to 50x, 250x, and 1,000x. When you fill the last stage, the bar returns to the start, and at that point every stage value becomes the last stage’s multiplier. It’s a structure where you can receive 1,000x multiple times.

There are six buy options

Bonus buy has six tiers. Bonus Hunt, which raises scatter odds by 5x, costs 2x your bet, and Multiplier Rage, which raises the odds of multipliers, wilds, and Keeper Wilds by 5x, costs 4x. For the other four, you choose the bonus you buy: Storm Free Spins at 100x, Thunder Free Spins at 125x, Storm Super Spins at 250x, and Thunder Super Spins at 300x.

At the same tier, Thunder is priced higher. The difference is 25x for the regular bonus and 50x for the Super. Being able to pick which of the two random paths you want is also a feature of this game’s buy options.
