9 betting spots, multipliers from 1x to 40x, and just one spot per round at 500x. Those are the numbers behind Mega Wheel Latino, which Pragmatic Play released on October 14. It is a remake of Mega Wheel, the company’s first live game show, tailored to the Latin American market.
Hosted in Spanish from a Colombian studio
Mega Wheel Latino is broadcast from a dedicated studio in Colombia. The hosts are native Spanish speakers. Where the original Mega Wheel was a game show built around English-speaking players, this version changes both the screen and the hosting into the local language.
In live casino, hosting in the local language is no small difference. Since a real person spins the wheel and talks with players, the host’s tone and jokes make up a large part of the game experience. Pragmatic Play’s event featuring Kevin Hart as a live dealer last September can be seen in the same light.
A game where you guess which spot the wheel will stop on
The rules are simple. Players predict where the wheel will stop and place bets on one of 9 betting spots. Each number spot on the wheel carries a multiplier prize between 1x and 40x. On top of that, one Mega Lucky Number is randomly drawn each round, boosting that betting spot’s prize up to 500x.
The spot that gets the Mega Lucky Number changes every round. Even a spot that normally pays 1x can jump significantly if it’s drawn as the Mega Lucky Number that round. The official announcement only states the max of 500x and does not explain the range in which the multiplier is set when a Mega Lucky Number is applied.
Unlike slots, there are no features to learn, and each round is short. The official announcement also highlighted the energy of a live game show together with simple, fast-paced play. It’s a format aimed at players new to live casino.
The third Latino live game this year
| Games | Type | Release |
|---|---|---|
| Speed Blackjack Latino | Blackjack | 2026 (month not announced) |
| Football Blitz Top Card Latino | Card game show | 2026 (month not announced) |
| Mega Wheel Latino | Wheel game show | 2026.10.14 |
Pragmatic Play said Mega Wheel Latino strengthens its Latin American live casino lineup, following the two earlier Latino games. By broadening the range across blackjack, a card game show, and a wheel game show, it is giving players in the same region more to choose from. The exact release months of the two earlier games were not given in the official announcement.
Up to eight slots a month
At the end of its announcement, Pragmatic Play said it develops up to 8 new slots every month while also supplying live casino games. All products are connected through a single API and supplied to operators. This live casino business won an award earlier this month at the SBC Awards 2026, alongside the slot developer category.
