Overview
FeatureSpins are an optional setting in the bonus buy menu of Hacksaw Gaming slots. Instead of buying the whole bonus round, they raise the price of each spin and change that spin’s conditions in return. For example, it works like “pay 3x your bet and the chance of triggering the bonus is 5x.”
Once you turn on a FeatureSpins option in the menu, the same conditions and price apply to every following spin until you turn it off. The name, effect and price are set separately for each game.
Two main types
BonusHunt FeatureSpins
This type raises the spin price slightly and increases the chance of triggering the bonus (free spins). In Le Bandit, released in August 2023, and Octo Attack in 2024, it was presented as a price of 3x your bet with a 5x bonus trigger chance.
Guaranteed FeatureSpins
This type raises the spin price a lot in exchange for guaranteeing a specific symbol or a win on every spin. The “Rainbow FeatureSpins” in Le Bandit was presented as guaranteeing 1 rainbow symbol for 50x your bet, and the “Tentacular FeatureSpins” in Octo Attack as guaranteeing at least 1 win and 1 special symbol for 50x your bet. The idea of a guarantee is also linked to minimum win guarantees.

Max Win Machine, released in 2026, splits FeatureSpins into 4 tiers. At the most expensive tier, the odds were reportedly adjusted so the 10,000x max win combination lands about once every 5 spins.

Things to know
- FeatureSpins raise the price along with changing the odds or conditions. RTP is calculated separately for each option, and Le Bandit was released with different RTPs per option, ranging from 96.28% to 96.4%.
- A “guaranteed win” does not mean you get back at least your bet. The guaranteed win can be smaller than the spin price.
- In regions where the bonus buy feature is not allowed, the FeatureSpins menu may not appear either.
